The first female freedom fighters of India defeated Portuguese for 4 Decades.

The only woman in history to confront, fight & repeatedly defeat Portuguese.

The fiercely independent princess Abbakka (16th C.E. Chowtha Dynasty) trained in sword fighting, archery, cavalry, military strategy, diplomacy & all other statecrafts from a young age, when crowned as the Queen of Ullal, she was deeply aware of the threat by Portuguese on the coast.

These real stories should be included in our school syllabus.
