Jageshwar Temple, Uttarakhand

Jageshwar Temple is a famous temple complex located in the state of Uttarakhand in India. It is located in the Jageshwar valley, which is situated in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand. The temple complex is a group of over 100 ancient Hindu temples that date back to the 9th to 13th century.

The Jageshwar Temple complex is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is believed to be one of the most important places of worship for Shaivites, a sect of Hinduism that venerates Lord Shiva. The main temple in the complex, the Jageshwar Temple, is an ancient stone temple that features intricate carvings and architectural details.


Apart from the main Jageshwar Temple, the temple complex also features many other smaller temples and shrines dedicated to various Hindu deities.
